Payroll Administrator

Accountemps is looking for an organized and forward-thinking Payroll Administrator who is looking to take the next steps in their career. Our client is looking for a candidate with excellent problem solving and analytical skills. This is a temporary contract located in the Ottawa, Ontario area. Responsibilities: *Perform full cycle payroll *Handle reconciliation of employee deductions and other relevant liabilities *Manage payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information *Verify all employee payroll information *Assist with employee transfers *Perform reconciliations *Answer employee questions and requests related to payroll information *Protect confidential all payroll related information and maintain employee confidence *Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned *Assist in the onboarding of new employees *Assist in the year-end payroll process Qualifications: *A minimum of 2 years work experience in a similar role *Excellent knowledge of both Ontario and Quebec provincial payroll functions *Outstanding verbal and written communication skills *Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office *Exceptional knowledge of ADP *Brilliant time-management and multi-tasking skills *Fluently bilingual in both official languages considered an asset We thank all applicants for their interest, however only those candidates selected for interviews will be contacted.
